About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacist - Oncology to join our team at Inova Fairfax Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe and effective medication therapies for patients according to established policies and protocols.
  • Oversee all department activities pertaining to the preparation and dispensing of pharmaceutical preparations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in information systems, including clinical information systems and automated dispensing systems.
  • Participate in the performance appraisal of pharmacy support personnel.
  • Organize and prioritize work assignments to ensure timely provision of pharmacy services.
Requirements
  • One (1) year of experience working in a hospital as a Pharmacist.
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
  • PGY1/PGY2 Oncology residency preferred.
  • Licensed Pharmacist in the state of VA.
