Overview:
This role is responsible for managing, delivering, and sustaining supply levels across patient care units and various departments. The position involves fulfilling supply requests for support departments, ensuring timely delivery of essential patient equipment, supplies, and exchange carts. Accurate sorting and receiving of all shipments is a key responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restock incoming supplies and fulfill stock requisitions.
- Operate powered equipment as necessary.
- Confirm that shipment contents are accurate and undamaged.
- Distribute inbound packages throughout the facility.
- Organize outbound products and materials.
- Deliver departmental orders and non-routine supplies as required.
- Maintain accurate records in the system and process related paperwork.
- Assist with physical inventory data entry and verification.
- Keep up-to-date knowledge of inventory par level analysis and perform expiration functions.
Clerical Duties Include:
- Managing stat issues/transfers, noting and verifying stock discrepancies, filing, and other assigned tasks.
- Processing outbound shipping as needed.
- Preparing manifests for courier delivery.
Within the scope of this role, critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently are essential. The position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate actions as necessary.
