We are seeking an experienced Chief Program Officer to lead our program function and drive strategic direction.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in program management or leadership roles within the nonprofit sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive vision and strategy for the program function to align with LADF's overall organizational strategy.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and build the capacity of the Programs department by establishing clear expectations and priorities.
  • Program & Partnership Development and Management: Manage major projects with new and existing partners, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Evaluation and Reporting: Establish and monitor program goals, metrics, and performance indicators to ensure effective program evaluation.

Qualifications and Experience Needed:

  • Demonstrated experience managing a complex program function that includes giving programs/grantmaking.
  • Experience in sports-based youth development and/or youth development strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in partnership with the CEO and COO to manage relationships collaboratively.
  • Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, which includes nights, weekends, and some home games.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $175,000 – $195,000 based on qualifications and experience.
