The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, experience in people management, and a passion for staying on top of tech trends and experimenting with new technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple delivery teams and coach team members through their career development and performance
  • Develop the technical strategy, roadmap, and vision for the platforms you own
  • Work with product managers to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
  • Continuously improve software engineering practices
  • Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack development tools and technologies
  • Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
  • Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal and external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community
  • Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity
  • Lead efforts to deploy new and existing applications into AWS environments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 7 years experience in software engineering or software development
  • At least 5 years experience in people management
  • At least 5 years experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering or software development
  • 8+ years experience architecting and delivering software systems or platforms
  • 6+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • 5+ years of experience developing in Golang, Python, Java, or Scala
  • 5+ years of experience in open source frameworks
  • 3+ years of experience working with Big Data
  • 3+ years of experience working with Cyber Security
