Selectek is in search of a proficient Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This position is integral to maintaining the high standards of our precision manufacturing processes.

Position Overview:
This role is designed for a detail-oriented individual who will ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards throughout the production cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer specifications and engineering drawings to confirm adherence to quality standards.
  • Determine critical inspection points during the manufacturing workflow.
  • Record and update inspection protocols, noting any necessary alterations.
  • Keep thorough quality assurance documentation.
  • Review quality assurance methodologies and oversee corrective actions.
  • Conduct both initial and ongoing inspections of gauges, testing instruments, and production tools.
  • Verify that inspection and testing apparatus are calibrated in accordance with established timelines.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with quality inspection of diverse materials such as metals and polymers.
  • Skilled in drafting and interpreting inspection reports concerning quality metrics, calibration, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Familiarity with measurement instruments, including micrometers and gauges, along with a solid grasp of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience in both first piece and final product inspections.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
