We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Clerk to join our team at 29 Palms. As a Credit Clerk, you will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of prospects, checking credit applications, and granting approvals within established guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and suggest creditworthiness of prospects to minimize financial risk to the organization.
- Check credit applications and grant approvals within established guidelines.
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements, including Title 31.
- Manage return checks and communicate with collection agencies.
- Maintain open lines of communication with the Credit & Collection Manager.
- Uphold a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests, team members, and vendors.
- Communicate with other departments as needed using professionalism.
- Follow established rules, procedures, and internal control policies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Present a positive image of the organization to its guests and vendors.
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years' experience in financial services or equivalent.
- Must be computer literate and able to operate a 10-key calculator.
- Six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must pass periodic random drug screens.
- Must be able to pass background suitability investigation.
- Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.
- Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses.

- Multiple locations.
- Some enterprises are open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week; therefore, you must be flexible to work any and all hours.
- Must be available for emergency calls 24/7.
- Must be available to work weekend and holidays.

- Some enterprises are not a smoke-free environment.
