Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Clerk to join our team at 29 Palms. As a Credit Clerk, you will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of prospects, checking credit applications, and granting approvals within established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and suggest creditworthiness of prospects to minimize financial risk to the organization.
  • Check credit applications and grant approvals within established guidelines.
  • Strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements, including Title 31.
  • Manage return checks and communicate with collection agencies.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with the Credit & Collection Manager.
  • Uphold a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests, team members, and vendors.
  • Communicate with other departments as needed using professionalism.
  • Follow established rules, procedures, and internal control policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Present a positive image of the organization to its guests and vendors.
  • Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in financial services or equivalent.
  • Must be computer literate and able to operate a 10-key calculator.
  • Six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Must pass periodic random drug screens.
  • Must be able to pass background suitability investigation.
  • Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses.
Work Environment
