We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Horizon Health Services. As a Residential Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals struggling with mental health and addiction issues.

About the Role

As a Residential Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing medical assessments and interventions to patients
  • Assisting medical providers with medication management and integration appointments
  • Teaching patients preventative health and wellness skills to promote optimal health
  • Providing education on smoking cessation and comorbid conditions
  • Performing touchless searches and conducting supervised toxicologies
  • Participating in room searches and other duties as defined by the RN Manager

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A valid New York State Registered Professional Nurse License
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
Location and Schedule

This position is part-time with an alternating schedule. You will work one week on Saturday and Sunday from 10:30pm - 9:00am, and the next week on Monday and Tuesday from 10:30pm - 9:00am. Compensation: $37.80 - $42.00 per hour, with an additional 25% shift differential for work hours between 7 PM - 7 AM. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.

Eligible hires will receive a Registered Nurse Recruitment Bonus Program, which includes a $750 bonus after 30 days of continuous work and another $750 bonus after 6 months of continuous work.
