Overview

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our dedicated outpatient team in the Rheumatology Department.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with rheumatological conditions.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans, utilizing medical decision-making skills and collaborating with the medical team.
  • Ordering and interpreting lab studies and diagnostic procedures, as well as performing procedural skills per guidelines.
  • Participating in research projects and precepting students and medical learners.
  • Upholding Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist's missions, values, and cultural commitments.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current licensure and certification in the state of North Carolina, as well as board certification in a relevant specialty.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in rheumatology, with a strong track record of patient care and professional development.
