Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist II to join our team at Dartmouth Health. As a member of our surgical team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, maintaining aseptic technique and a quiet environment.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team, expediting procedures and ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in training and orientation of new employees, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of surgical technology or program accepted by the Association of Surgical Technologists.
  • National certification as a surgical technician.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Currently Registered with the New Hampshire Board of Registration for Medical Technicians.
