Job Title: Salesforce Senior Application Developer

Steampunk is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Senior Application Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex Salesforce solutions using declarative and programmatic development resources.
  • Develop, test, and document Apex classes, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-architected solutions.
  • Execute test plans to ensure quality delivery and participate in code reviews.
  • Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in SFDC applications.
  • Deliver support and solutions for break/fix issues and communicate with stakeholders regarding status and technical issues.
  • Perform Salesforce administration and development tasks, including creating accounts, profiles, fields, and layouts.
  • Interface with business analysts and technical staff to deliver complete work products.
  • Research and develop new Salesforce.com prototypes and applications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 7 years of work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce development.
  • Functional knowledge of Salesforce.com data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements.
  • Proven knowledge and practical application of Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs, and Web Services.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain government security clearance.
  • Salesforce Developer certification(s).

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and deliver results with aggressive timelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and analysis.
  • Take initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking.
