Position Overview
The audiologist in the outpatient ENT environment will perform thorough audiological assessments for both adult and pediatric populations.

The audiologist will act as a champion for patients' hearing healthcare requirements within the medical framework, providing assistance and resources while upholding professionalism and nurturing positive interactions with patients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct detailed audiological assessments, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, immittance testing (tympanometry and acoustic reflex testing), and otoacoustic emissions (OAE) evaluations.
2. Assess patients experiencing tinnitus, providing counseling and management strategies, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals as necessary.
3. Execute pediatric hearing assessments, utilizing conditioned play audiometry (CPA).
4. Collaborate closely with otolaryngologists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care for patients.

5. Evaluate patients' candidacy for hearing aids, select suitable hearing aid technology tailored to patient needs and preferences, and deliver hearing aid fittings along with follow-up care.

6. Comply with clinical protocols, quality assurance standards, and regulatory guidelines to guarantee the highest levels of patient care and safety.

7. Advocate for patients' hearing healthcare needs within the medical system and offer support and resources to assist patients in navigating their hearing healthcare journey.

Maintain professionalism in interactions with the public and foster positive relationships with center personnel and medical staff.

Qualifications
Requires an AuD or Master's degree in Audiology with an active certification. Proficient in typing and computer skills; skilled in operating audiology equipment. Excellent communication, written, and organizational skills are essential. Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize effectively. Demonstrates sound judgment and problem-solving capabilities.

Schedule
Part-time, 16 hours per week with the potential for additional hours if desired. Availability includes Monday afternoons, Tuesday, and Wednesday afternoons.
