Job Summary:

Starwest Botanicals, Inc. is a leading manufacturer and distributor of organic herbs, botanicals, spices, and teas. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics and Inventory Manager to oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Warehouse Operations: Manage the daily activities of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products and raw materials.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate and monitor the shipping of products to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of hourly employees, providing constructive feedback and guidance to improve performance and productivity.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including food safety and GMPs.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis to management on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and shipping and receiving activities.
Requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics and inventory management, with a strong background in warehouse operations.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database management, and spreadsheet creation.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: The Logistics and Inventory Manager will work in a warehouse environment, with frequent exposure to physical activity and potential hazards.
  • Travel: Occasional travel to company facilities and meetings may be required.
