POSITION SUMMARY:
Penn State Health Medical Group All About Children is in search of a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Specialist to join our team in the outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will engage in routine wellness visits, follow-up consultations, and urgent care appointments. A minimum of one year of experience in a pediatric primary care setting is preferred. This role involves collaboration with fellow Nurse Practitioners and physicians in a supportive and cooperative atmosphere. Our mission is to deliver exceptional care to the underserved pediatric population of Reading and Berks County. The work schedule is flexible from Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts, but may include participation in an after-hours call rotation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's Degree in Nursing with a clinical focus is required.
- At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
- Current certification to practice as a CRNP by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pediatric Primary Nurse Practitioner Certification is preferred.
