Radiologic Technologist

As a Radiologic Technologist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care services. Your primary responsibility will be to perform diagnostic imaging services in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective imaging.
- Apply a broad range of skills to ensure exams are completed timely and meet quality and compliance standards.
- Provide appropriate screening processes to patients, staff, and self according to prescribed safety standards.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new staff.
Technical Capabilities:
- Diagnostic Equipment: Possess sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate the use of diagnostic tools in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
- Compliance: Can explain and apply basic statutory instructions in normal situations on the job. Understands the principles upon which the rules and regulations are based.
- Patient Documentation: Possess sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate patient documentation in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
