Avera has been recognized as one of the nation's top health systems, and we're seeking a compassionate individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside nurses and other professionals who are passionate about creating a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in patient care in the clinic setting
- Develop long-term relationships with patients
- Work collaboratively with other clinic staff to solve practice-related problems
Requirements:
- Graduate from a Medical Assistant program with an Associate's degree or diploma preferred
- Six months to one year of related experience and/or training preferred
- National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAAMA); or National Registration as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologist (AMT); or National Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health Career Association and Medical Assistant diploma
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, occasional weekends; 80 hours every two weeks
Compensation:
The hourly range for this position is $19.25-$27.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
