Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement infection prevention and control strategies to reduce hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) and promote a culture of safety.
- Conduct surveillance and investigations to identify and address infection control issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement evidence-based practices and policies to prevent and control infections.
- Provide education and training to healthcare staff on infection prevention and control best practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify and address areas for improvement in infection prevention and control.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest infection prevention and control guidelines and regulations, and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and laws.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC) within 3 years of hire.
- 2-5 years of experience in infection prevention and control, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
