Job Title: Senior Loss Prevention Specialist

Rumpke, a leading waste and recycling company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Safety's Loss Control Division, you will play a critical role in receiving, examining, investigating, and analyzing auto and general liability claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage claims involving bodily injury and third-party property damage through various communication channels.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, interpret coverage, and interview insureds, witnesses, and third-party claimants.
  • Perform complex liability analysis, including valuation of comparative fault issues, and negotiate settlements with individuals, insurance carriers, and attorneys.
  • Provide support and guidance to Loss Prevention Specialists and manage subrogation efforts.
  • Prepare and forward claim-related correspondences, maintain accurate records, and interact with insurance representatives.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer and record-keeping skills.
  • Highly motivated individual with a professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to use independent discretion and sound judgment in handling claims.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20lbs.
  • Continuous sitting in an office environment.
