Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse Opportunity

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Travel LPN. This role allows an LPN to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.

About the Role
  • Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for residents in relevant clinical settings.
  • Competently practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge, utilizing appropriate age and population-specific standards related to physical and psychosocial needs of residents as per care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure health, comfort, and safety of residents.
  • Contribute to assessment of residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
  • Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
  • Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates under the direction of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician on prevention and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
  • Hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.

Estimated Salary Range: $24.00 - $36.00/hour
