Job Description for Server Position

Northern Hospitality Group is a fast-growing company that owns and operates several restaurants, hotels, and brewers in Anchorage and Denali National Park. We are searching for strong leaders who believe in our vision and mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Take accurate orders and serve food to guests.
  • Memorize the menu and actively sell/suggest additional items.
  • Maintain and clean food service areas.
  • Restock paper goods, condiments, silverware, dishware, and drinks.

Requirements:

  • Over 21 years of age.
  • High school completion or equivalent certification.
  • Proficiency in computer business applications.
  • Working knowledge of computerized restaurant point-of-sales systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers, employees, and management.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • 3 years of experience in serving, customer service, or bussing.
  • Current TAPS card.
  • Valid Alaska Food Handlers card.
  • Cicerone Certification Required
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
