Job Title: Vascular Sonographer - Diagnostic Imaging

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a highly skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our Diagnostic Imaging team in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Vascular Sonographer to perform a comprehensive array of sophisticated abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ultrasound technology and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Imaging and Diagnostic Procedures: Perform a wide range of imaging and diagnostic procedures, including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts studies, to provide accurate and timely results.
  • Patient Care: Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring that patients are comfortable and informed throughout the imaging process.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure that imaging procedures meet or exceed established standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Allied Health or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in vascular ultrasound or a related field.
  • Certifications: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of ultrasound technology and principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
