Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

This role is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service to various stakeholders within the Tucson Unified School District (TUSD), including sites, departments, staff, and families.

The Support Center Representative is responsible for analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving issues while initiating necessary work orders.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a customer support environment, addressing concerns related to technology assistance, transportation services, building maintenance, or similar fields.

Proven experience in providing training and/or technical support to staff members.

Proficient in utilizing enterprise applications, including but not limited to email, calendar management, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and database management systems.

OR

60 Semester Hour Credits in a relevant discipline

AND

Two (2) years of the aforementioned experience

OR

Technical certification in any of the following: Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, or Network+ or equivalent

AND

Two (2) years of the aforementioned experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a demonstrated ability to comprehend and interpret written/graphic and oral instructions.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with ITIL foundations, service desk help/ticket management software, and/or Help Desk related certifications are advantageous.

Ability to think critically and resolve issues effectively.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE

Completion of an FBI fingerprint background check.

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

COMMENTS

Classification: White Collar

FTE: hours per day

Work Calendar: 12 months

Note: Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
