About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PET/CT Technologist to join our team at US Oncology Network-wide Career Opportunities. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of increasing access to and advancing the delivery of high-quality cancer care in America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic PET imaging procedures, including injection of radio-pharmaceuticals and/or IV contrast, and related functions.
  • Assist in procedure scheduling and related front office functions to ensure smooth workflow and development of teaching and educational information.
  • Provide protection for patients and staff in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
  • Conduct daily quality control measures to monitor scanner performance and take appropriate action if indicated.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all protected health information for patients and staff.
Requirements
  • Associates or bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology from an American Medical Association accredited program and PET/CT certification.
  • Minimum three (3) + years of experience in nuclear medicine.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) and/or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Nuclear certification and state licensure where applicable.
  • Knowledge and experience with patient scheduling and billing systems.
