Position Overview

Tact Staff is actively seeking a Travel CT Technologist for an exciting opportunity.

Job Responsibilities

The role involves working Monday to Friday with a schedule from 9:30 AM to 5 PM. Candidates must possess a valid BLS (AHA) certification and have a minimum of two years of experience in the field.

Qualifications

A. Educational Background: High School diploma required. Completion of an A.M.A approved program in radiologic technology with advanced training in CT, MRI, and Interventional Radiography is essential.

B. Licenses and Certifications:

  • State licensure as a radiologic technologist.
  • Advanced certification in CT technology.
  • Current ARRT certification.
  • Certification for contrast injections as mandated by job functions.

C. Experience and Skills: A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required. CT Technologists are responsible for utilizing CT scanners to create detailed images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. This role requires the ability to accurately follow physician instructions, administer contrast materials, operate CT equipment, and position patients effectively to obtain quality images.

CT Technologists must maintain good health to manage the physical demands of the job, including the handling of equipment and patients with mobility challenges. Adherence to safety protocols is crucial due to the radiation exposure associated with CT scanning.
