POSITION OVERVIEW
The Retail Sales Representative (RSR) plays a vital role in engaging with customers and colleagues to foster a welcoming store atmosphere. The RSR enhances sales by maintaining a tidy, organized, and visually appealing store environment. This role is essential for executing operational tasks and safeguarding company assets through outstanding customer service. The RSR is tasked with delivering information about product advantages and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their shopping journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Engagement:


Proactively addresses customer inquiries and resolves issues, effectively managing multiple customers in a bustling retail setting.


Assists customers in locating products, communicates ongoing promotions, and frequently checks in to guarantee a pleasant shopping experience.

Facilitates point of sale transactions efficiently during purchases.

Handles floor replenishment and incoming shipments as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction and product availability.

Brand Representation:
Upholds visual merchandising standards in alignment with company guidelines.

Implements replenishment processes, organizes, and maintains the sales floor to meet company expectations.

Completes merchandise displays according to visual directives and standards.

Possesses comprehensive product knowledge and ensures effective merchandise presentation.

Communicates current promotional activities and the brand loyalty program to customers.

Growth Facilitation:
Reduces store loss through exceptional customer service practices.

Maintains cleanliness and organization to provide a positive experience for both customers and team members.

Meets or surpasses company productivity benchmarks for all operational tasks.

Achieves daily performance targets set by management.

Team Collaboration:
Fosters a cooperative working relationship with all team members.

Adapts to various tasks as needed.

Supports management directives within the store.

Mentors, trains, and encourages team members towards success.

Complies with all company policies and safety protocols as directed.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Proven customer engagement abilities.

Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Effective communication skills with customers and team members.

Experience in retail or specialty apparel is advantageous.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.

Capability to stand for extended periods; ability to climb ladders.

Frequent walking and standing; regular bending, stooping, and reaching.

AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Flexibility to meet business needs, including availability during days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Any changes in availability must be approved by management based on business requirements.

Shifts may range from 3 to 8 hours in length (subject to applicable state laws).

Minimum hours are not guaranteed.
