Job Summary

Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital is seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team. As a New Grad RN, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced nurses and develop your skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with medical-related disease processes, working collaboratively with a coach to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Establish and prioritize patient care activities based on acuity of need, patient preference, and resource availability.
  • Initiate and maintain interventions to ensure continuity of safe and effective care for patients.
  • Respond to data indicating risk to individual health and initiate action to correct, reduce, or prevent the risk.
  • Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through American Heart Association (AHA) upon hire or within one year of beginning work in the Emergency Department.
  • ACLS required within one year of hire date.
