Job Title: Progressive Care Unit Nurse

Cleveland Clinic's Hillcrest Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population of patients, providing high-quality care and making a meaningful difference in their lives.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. As a Progressive Care Unit Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
  • Implement, monitor, and evaluate patient care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and other important health metrics
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • One year of current acute care RN experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Physical Requirements
  • Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range
  • Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours
