Job Description

Bake'n Joy Foods, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of top-quality bakery products. We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee and manage various projects within the company, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budgets.
    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
    • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Cross-Functional Project Prioritization
    • Work closely with department heads to identify and prioritize projects based on company goals and strategic initiatives.
    • Balance resource allocation and project timelines to optimize efficiency and productivity.
    • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Management & Leadership
    • Lead, coach, and motivate project team members to achieve project goals.
    • Facilitate team meetings, manage project tasks, and provide guidance to team members.
    • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and team members.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify, analyze, and manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans to address risks.
  • Regulatory Requirements
    • Ensure projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Comply with safety regulations, including Occupational Safety & Health Administration guidelines.
    • Adhere to environmental regulations, ensuring projects are executed with minimal environmental impact and in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
    • Uphold food safety and quality standards, including compliance with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and other relevant food safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular project evaluations and implement improvements as needed to maintain compliance and enhance safety and quality standards.
  • Acquisitions
    • Lead the planning and execution of major acquisitions, including due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition management.
    • Collaborate with legal, financial, and operational teams to ensure smooth transitions and successful integration of acquired entities.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
    • Prepare and present project reports to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field. Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the food manufacturing industry or a similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
Work Environment
  • Primarily office-based with expectation of traveling to other office locations.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
Position Type
  • Full-Time
Work Hours
  • Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Flexibility required for production schedule and deadlines.
Travel
  • Travel will be determined based on the location of the projects.
