Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist - School Setting

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students improve their communication skills and achieve academic success.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Washington State SLP license.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
