Dynamic Elementary Education Support Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to join the York County School Division team as a Para-Educator - Elementary. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for supporting the educational growth and development of students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively with administrators, teachers, and school officials to create a supportive and engaging learning experience for students. The role will also involve providing individualized support to students with varying needs, while maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Providing instructional support to teachers and students, including lesson planning and implementation
- Assisting with classroom management and organization
- Supporting students with special needs, including those with disabilities and English language learners
- Developing and implementing strategies to promote student engagement and motivation
- Collaborating with teachers and administrators to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Providing feedback and guidance to students on their academic progress and goals
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents. A strong commitment to student-centered learning and a passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment are essential for success in this role.
