Cook - PRN/On Call - Long Term Care (LTC)

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at The Good Samaritan Society – Pine River LTC. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our residents, staff, and visitors. This is a PRN/On Call position, requiring flexibility and a willingness to work varied shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food according to standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines
- Ensure food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met
- Operate kitchen equipment, including mixers, slicers, and ovens
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Work effectively with internal customers, requiring excellent communication and teamwork skills
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of six months of applicable experience
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
- Basic math skills
- Valid Driver's License may be required
