We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Alden Debes Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. As an LPN, you will provide direct nursing care to our customers and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by our nursing assistants.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to customers, including administering medications, performing routine charting duties, and participating in the orientation of new customers and family members.
- Supervise nursing assistants and ensure they follow established departmental policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for customers, including assessing their needs and developing strategies to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for customers.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve customer care.
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as a LPN in the State of Illinois and/or Wisconsin.
- Current CPR certificate or become certified within two weeks of employment.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Ability to make independent decisions and work harmoniously with other personnel.
- A competitive hourly rate of $40.00.
