We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team at Kentucky Orthopedic Rehab Team. As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will work closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and support the development of essential life skills in children with ASD.
Responsibilities:- Implement behavioral interventions and support the development of essential life skills in children with ASD.
- Collaborate with BCBAs to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct care to children with ASD, including behavioral interventions and support with daily living skills.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records of client treatment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in ABA therapy.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification preferred or to be completed upon hire.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
- Pediatric Behavioral Tech Experience.
- Bachelors Degree in Psychology or Behavioral Analysis.
