Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Ditmas Park Nursing & Rehab. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting a positive and supportive environment for our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Patient-Centered Care
    • Provide individualized care to patients, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Lead and Manage the Nursing Team
    • Supervise and direct nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
    • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Communicate Effectively
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
    • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments
    • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
    • Apply knowledge and skills to improve patient outcomes and quality of care.
Requirements
  • Education
    • BS in Nursing from an accredited institution.
    • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience
    • Previous long-term care experience preferred.
    • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • NYS license in Nursing with current registration.
