Position Overview

As a Senior Real Estate Accountant, you will oversee the financial operations of our property portfolio, ensuring precise financial documentation and working closely with the property management division. This role allows you to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and engage in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee property accounting functions, including managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Guarantee timely financial reporting and account reconciliations
  • Prepare and interpret financial statements, aiding in budget preparation
  • Collaborate with the property management team to ensure accurate financial information
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, tenants, and other stakeholders
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in property accounting
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and practices
  • Familiarity with property management software
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • CPA designation or candidate status preferred
