What You'll Do
- Assess patient health by conducting thorough interviews and physical examinations, and obtaining and updating medical histories.
- Determine abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies, and interpreting test results.
- Perform therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations, suturing, managing wounds and infections, and providing patient education.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by staying up-to-date on existing and new legislation, and advising management on needed actions.
- Contribute to the development of the healthcare team by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.
About You
- A Master's degree and certification by a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner certifying body are required. You must have and maintain a DEA license with no restrictions.
- Active licensure in the state of employment by start date is required.
- Active BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
- Clinical experience in an emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care setting is preferred.

Physical Requirements
- You must be able to stand and sit for hours at a time, with some bending and stooping required.
- You must be able to use manual dexterity in relation to clinical requirements.
- You must be able to lift 50lbs.
