About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our AI Foundations team at Capital One. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in developing and deploying AI and machine learning models to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning models that meet the needs of our business stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software engineers, and product managers, to ensure that our models are scalable, reliable, and meet the needs of our customers.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from natural language processing to computer vision. You will be responsible for collecting and processing large datasets, developing and training machine learning models, and deploying them to production environments.

We are looking for a highly motivated and collaborative individual who is passionate about AI and machine learning. If you have a strong background in data science and a desire to work on cutting-edge projects, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning models

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in data science and machine learning

  • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in data science and machine learning
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience with containerization using Docker
  • Experience with DevOps practices such as continuous integration and continuous deployment
