Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Trainer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our Surface Combat Systems training support team, you will play a critical role in providing training support to our United States Navy and International customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs for Surface Combat Systems platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement training solutions
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct training needs assessments and develop training plans to meet customer requirements
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and training methodologies
Requirements
  • Experience in a Combat Information Center (CIC) or Combat Systems Training Team (CSTT) environment for Aegis or SSDS platforms
  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to build and present training program briefings and content for US and FMS Navy officials
  • Ability to write clear and concise training materials
  • Ability to comfortably present technical information to groups
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating an Aegis trainer such as Oasis, Virtual Operator Training (VOT) or Next Generation Simulation (NGS)
  • Familiarity with scenario development utilizing relevant onboard training systems
  • Experience with curriculum development
  • Master Training Specialist (MTS) certification
  • Relevant experience or knowledge of multiple Surface Combatant platforms
