Role Overview:

We are seeking a Field Engineer to conduct on-site Lock-Out, Tag-Out (LOTO) evaluations and develop Visual Lock-Out Procedures for our clients.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the sales team and clients to determine the most effective LOTO procedures, gathering necessary data, and executing the installation of energy isolation point tags and procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

- Manage assigned projects and maintain direct communication with clients from initiation to completion, including weekly updates on progress and future plans.

- Provide regular status updates to the Brady Project Manager and ensure accurate documentation in the project management system.

- Efficiently complete client LOTO Procedures, which involves fieldwork, documentation, and installation of necessary tags and procedures.

- Notify the Brady Project Manager of any project delays promptly, providing reasons and estimated resolution times.

- Represent Brady professionally, ensuring client expectations are met and fostering positive relationships.

- Conduct audits of client procedures and generate reports to identify areas needing updates.

- Assess client equipment and compile reports detailing isolation points and relevant energy control information.

- Collaborate with Brady Project Managers to track project hours and expenses accurately.


Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in equipment maintenance or isolation.

- Alternatively, 5 years of practical experience may substitute for formal education.

- Proficiency in OSHA regulations regarding Equipment Lock-Out, Tag-Out, and Verification, with the ability to communicate these to clients.

- Knowledge of Confined Space requirements and the ability to convey these to clients, including assessments and permitting.

- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills in field situations.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Strong technical abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience in generating technical reports with client recommendations.

- Willingness to travel for 50-70% of the time, including overnight stays for on-site work. A valid driver’s license is required.
