Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide supervision and support to our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting a positive and therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized support and supervision to clients, including assistance with daily activities and crisis intervention.
- Facilitate group activities and provide support to residents, including meal service, laundry, and daily phone calls.
- Complete daily shift notes and communicate with treatment teams regarding client concerns.
- Supervise self-administration of medications and maintain training in medication disbursement.
- Provide transportation to residents for community outings and meetings.
- Practice compliance with all policies, record keeping requirements, and assigned documentation.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology preferred.
- Prior work experience in behavioral health treatment settings with adolescents a plus.
- Valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage for driving company vehicles.
- Competitive salary range: $23.65 per hour, based on education and experience.
