Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Leslie's Poolmart, Inc. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers, and move materials within or near the warehouse.
  • Inventory Management: Count, weigh, and record the number of units of materials moved or handled on a daily basis.
  • Material Handling: Stack, bundle, and band materials together, and load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
  • Documentation: Fill out and sign shipping and receiving paperwork, and maintain accurate records of inventory and materials moved.
  • Safety and Maintenance: Clean and maintain the warehouse and equipment, and report any unsafe working conditions to the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of prior experience in a manufacturing environment and material handling/forklift operation preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to read, write, and speak English at a level that allows the incumbent to read testing procedures, quality control specifications, and information in laboratory records. Must be able to lift or move up to 50 to 100 pounds.
Working Conditions

The Material Handler will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
