Job Title: Dietary Technician

Canopy Children's Solutions is seeking a skilled Dietary Technician to join our team. As a Dietary Technician, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our PRTF youth and School Day students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook large volumes of meals in a timely manner, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Promote and maintain a clean and safe environment in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Assure that all meals are prepared under safe and sanitary conditions without contamination.
  • Monitor and document temperature of all fridge and freezers on a daily basis.
  • Participate in safety and infection control activities as directed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED; or three years' experience cooking in a healthcare environment or with childhood nutrition.
  • Basic understanding of dietary requirements.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to be covered by organization insurance provider.
