Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HPC/Linux DevOps Engineer to join our team at NXP Semiconductors. As a key member of our R&D IT team, you will be responsible for delivering HPC services and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure to our engineering and R&D customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with global colleagues to deliver HPC services and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
  • Operational responsibility for designated services within the region
  • Provide backup support to other regions as needed
  • Develop and maintain continuous build/integration infrastructure
  • Analyze and resolve infrastructure resource and application deployment issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related area
  • Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Linux Operating systems as Sysadmin
  • Experience with HPC workload managers software's like LSF, Grid Engine, or Slurm
  • Experience with DevOps tools like Git, Ansible, Salt, Python, Docker, and platforms like RedHat Satellite, ServiceNow, SPLUNK, VMWare and AWS
