Job Summary

The Building Automation Technician Manager is a critical role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of building automation systems. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective strategies for managing building automation systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Lead a team of technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of building automation systems, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement policies and procedures for building automation systems.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of building automation systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to improve building automation systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in building automation systems, with a strong background in technical leadership and management.
  • Proven track record of success in managing building automation systems, with a focus on efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, technicians, and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Valid state driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with eligibility to access Sensitive Compartmented Information.
