Maintenance Director

At BRC, our mission is to provide a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a critical role in achieving this goal by overseeing the maintenance of our facilities and ensuring that all necessary repairs are completed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of maintenance staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of interior and exterior spaces.
- Oversee and perform repairs requiring skills such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Collaborate with the Facility Manager to develop and implement preventative maintenance plans for our facilities.
- Arrange for and oversee outside contractors as directed.
- Ensure the delivery of fuel and store maintenance and office supplies.
- Participate in fire safety drills and be a member of the fire safety team.
Requirements:
- Five years' experience in building maintenance, with experience in trades being a plus.
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
- Able to use independent discretion and judgment.
- Certificate of fitness for Fire Safety Director is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
