Aircraft Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team at Aerotek. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing line maintenance on CRJ aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on CRJ aircraft
  • Inspect and repair aircraft systems and components
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
  • A&P Mechanic certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in Chicago, Illinois. You will work out of an office and facility just outside the airport, performing line maintenance for a regional airline. You will work scheduled 4 10-hour shifts, with most openings on 2nd shift (Sunday-Wednesday 1-11:00pm and 10:00pm-8:00am, Wednesday-Saturday 1:00pm-11:00pm). A few AM shifts (6:00am-4:00pm) may be available.

Compensation:

Pay: $33-38/hr. Non-local candidates qualify for 7-day per diem. Candidates with A&P license and 0-1 years of experience start at $33.00/hr.
