Job Summary

FosterAdopt Connect is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavioral Interventionist Program Manager to lead our Behavioral Intervention Program. This is a full-time position that reports directly to the President of Behavioral Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage staff in Cape Girardeau and Hannibal, MO, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet the specified outcomes for the Behavioral Intervention Program.
  • Provide supervision and leadership to enhance the emotional intelligence and increase performance and leadership skills of staff members.
  • Ensure all program activities operate consistently and ethically within the mission and values of FosterAdopt Connect.
  • Monitor workload and provide supervisory evaluation of Family Coordinators and BI Coordinators, providing support, guidance, and work product feedback.
  • Complete probationary and annual employee evaluations, ensuring that all training requirements are met.
  • Work with the Regional Director of BI Program on client referrals and waitlists, matching new clients with staff and staff hiring.
  • Ensure that reporting and procedural requirements are used consistently and accurately.
  • Assign new referrals and new BIs to BI Coordinators, ensuring completion accuracy and timeliness of initial assessments and referral process.
  • Review and approve initial assessments, renewals, quarterlies, updates, and progress notes, ensuring that all procedures are followed during Critical Incidents.
  • Provide support to staff during Out-of-Home Investigations and assist Family Coordinators and BI Coordinators with home visits and follow-up meetings.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, court, conferences, and trainings, maintaining strong, open communication with direct supervisor.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, public administration, or related human services field, with at least 2 years of experience in non-profit social service agencies and 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Understanding of child welfare practice and policy, with a commitment to principles of support and advocacy for foster and adoptive families.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with diverse teams.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with experience working with marginalized communities and understanding of systemic oppressions.
  • Travel required, with or without accommodation.
