At NMS Labs, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Chemistry Site Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our forensic chemistry laboratory, ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in our testing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise laboratory staff, including forensic chemists and technicians
  • Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory, including testing and analysis
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and laboratory policies
  • Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance procedures
  • Collaborate with other laboratory teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Provide training and guidance to laboratory staff
  • Perform analytical testing and casework management as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or forensic science from an accredited university
  • Minimum 6 years of laboratory experience, or M.S./Ph.D. with 3 years of experience in drug identification and/or toxicology
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of laboratory operations, quality control, and quality assurance procedures
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ABC certification
  • Experience in court testimony
  • Experience writing and managing vendor contracts
