Occupational Therapist Opportunity

Job Summary


As a key member of the rehabilitation team at Carroll Hospital, the Occupational Therapist will provide high-quality care to patients with physical, emotional, or cognitive disabilities. Under the supervision of the Rehab Service Coordinator, the Occupational Therapist will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to help patients achieve their goals and regain independence.

Responsibilities


  • Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement occupational therapy interventions, including activities to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as needed


Requirements


  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Maryland
  • Initial OT certification by AOTCB or NBCOT
