Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Rehab Service Coordinator, you will perform structured evaluations, conduct general activity programs, and assist in planning and implementing treatment programs for individuals limited by psychosocial dysfunction. You will also provide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and utilize your knowledge to ensure that care provided meets the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Implement and supervise general activity programs to promote patient recovery and independence
  • Collaborate with the Rehab Service Coordinator to plan and implement treatment programs
  • Provide supervision and guidance to COTAs to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Utilize knowledge of patient age and needs to ensure that care provided meets unique requirements
Requirements
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Less than 2 years of experience required
  • CPR certification by AHA Healthcare Provider
  • Initial OT certification by AOTCB or NBCOT
  • OT licensure in Maryland
