Aveanna Healthcare is expanding and is in search of dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) specializing in pediatric care. We offer both full-time and part-time positions, with shifts ranging from 6-8 hours during the day, evening, and overnight, as well as some 10 and 12-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering exceptional care to pediatric patients.
- Responding to patient inquiries and assessing their needs.
- Assisting children with daily living activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Repositioning patients who are bedridden.
- Ensuring dietary needs are met by understanding patients' dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Gathering and communicating information from healthcare professionals regarding patient conditions and care plans.
- Monitoring and documenting food and fluid intake, as well as output, and reporting any changes to nursing staff.
- Recording vital signs as directed by healthcare staff.
- Identifying and reporting any medical issues, such as wounds or unusual symptoms.
- Reminding patients to take prescribed medications and nutritional supplements.
- Documenting observations regarding patient behavior and physical condition.
- Staying informed on CNA training and facility policies.
- State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification is required.
- Current CPR certification (American Heart Association).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Overview:
